Terms and Conditions
This contract is between MAREE ALEXIS HAJIANTONI (the "Business") and (the "Client"). The Client is hiring the Business for the services described in this contract.
Terms
Maree Alexis Hair Service Agreement & Policies
At Maree Alexis Hair our main focus is to ensure you have the most incredible experience in our salon and leave feeling fabulous and happy with every visit.
Your happiness is our happiness so we have created a detailed clause so there is ultimate transparency for your service and experience with each visit.
DEPOSIT POLICY ALL DEPOSITS ARE NON REFUNDABLE INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO DEPOSITS & BONDS FOR COLOUR, EXTENSIONS AND FUTURE APPOINTMENTS. Deposits are redeemable for services only and cannot be transferred or refunded. You acknowledge that all cancellations will void your deposit.
Cancellation Policy We understand life happens and will always do our best to accommodate and provide adequate solutions in this situation. However we have a long list of clients waiting to get an appointment and would love for everyone to be accommodated.
Therefore we require a minimum of 72 hrs notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment. If notice is not provided in the allocated timeframe we reserve the right to charge a fee of 30% of the total amount you were booked in for.
You will be required to pay this before another booking can be made. We may provide a waiver as a once off courtesy and gesture of goodwill due to a particular circumstance, however becoming unwell outside of our notified timeframe you will still require to pay the cancellation fee.
Late Policy
if you are late to your appointment please let us know as soon as you feel you may be late. We will do our best to accommodate the entire service booked however due to time management we may need to shorten your appointment if there isn't enough time to complete your service. Even with a service that is shortened or modified you are still required to pay the full amount required as per your original booking.
Children/Extras Policy
We absolutely adore your bundles of joy and love friends and family to attend your appointment with you however due to the space we can not accommodate for you and extra guests. Exceptions are made for newborns and babies under 6 months that are not mobile as yet. We know babies need their Mumma and will do our best to accommodate.
Therefore we ask only YOU attend your appointment.
We pride ourselves on ensuring we give all clients a luxury experience - with this said we ask no extras are to attend your appointment. This allows not only a calming relaxing experience for you but for everyone in the salon.
We want to give you our undivided attention with no interruptions. Exceptions are made for newborns and babies under 6 month that are not mobile as yet. We know babies need their Mumma and will do our best to accommodate.
We understand your child may be fussy in a new space and require your undivided attention, however we are on a time schedule and therefore may cause delays for the stylist. Please also be aware that as you won't be sitting still with a baby next to you or on you we are not liable for colour or extensions service not being fully executed to your desired outcome. When a child is in the salon there is a lot of variable and stress especially if your Bub cries and you need to step out of the salon to comfort your child.
I acknowledge that I will not hold Maree Alexis accountable for inconsistency in my hair colour or extensions, damage to my hair or any issues with my hair knowingly my attention was on my child and due to time frame, moving around and holding my baby whilst at an appointment can change the outcome of my hair.
Colour Longevity Policy
When attending your colour service you understand that your colour requires maintenance and all though we do our absolute best to extend the longevity of your colour we cannot guarantee the lifespan. There are many factors that can influence your colour changing and fading within only a few weeks of application that are out of our control. Factors include unfiltered water and algae deposits that sit on your hair and eat away at the colour from your shower pipes, chlorine and salt water swims, being out in the sun a lot, hormonal changes, washing your hair with poor haircare and using heat tools excessively.
All these possibilities are common and are out of the stylists control. its up to you to take the advice from your stylist and use the haircare prescribed for the best outcome. We recommend that you book in for a maintenance touch up every 3-7 weeks to avoid the colour changing dramatically. Please note all touch up services will be charged at time of checkout.
Colour Corrections
We understand that sometimes a BIG CHANGE is needed and we would like a completely different look. If you would like a big change please notify your stylist at least 48 hrs prior to your booking so we can allocate enough time for your booking. Failure to do so means your big change will have to wait until your next appointment.
Personal Changes Clause
I understand that due to changes in my body that can affect my hair colour, and installation of hair extensions.
I understand my colour may not take or lift warm due to personal changes in my body such as hormonal changes. i.e pregnancy, breastfeeding, weight loss, menstruation. I understand due to my body changes when I see my stylist the salon cant guarantee the same results each time and I could have heat bands affecting my colour application as well as longevity of hair extensions.
I understand due to hormonal changes my body can act differently and I can experience significant damage and breakage to the hair as well as inconsistency with my colour application.
I understand that my colour can fade faster and showcase the warm undertones therefore if I need a re do of colour I must pay for the re tone service. Maree Alexis hair ony uses Ammonia Free toners and only meant to last 4-6 weeks then the colour will start fading.
I acknowledge colour fading can occur after the first wash with hormonal changes. Therefore will not hold Maree Alexis Hair liable and I must pay for the Re tone.
I will not hold Maree Alexis liable for loss of hair, breakage and matting of my colour and/ or extensions as the stylist cant be home with you watching you and making sure I follow strict home care guidelines. Also I understand due to personal changes in my body I could have an averse reaction to the products and service.
Mesh Integration System & Extensions
You understand all mesh integration systems are unique to the client and as its a customised service you understand that your integration system over time will be perfected to your liking and suited to your needs. Maree Alexis hair applies your mesh system using qualified and certified techniques however you may need adjustments which we work together over time to perfect.
All mesh integration systems including but not limited to your lace topper, wefts, mesh, beads and thread are all chosen for you and your hair therefore there will be no refunds of any kind if you no longer want your mesh integration, change of mind, influential change of mind.
The lace topper and hair extensions are in perfect condition when applied to your hair and you acknowledge this when allowing Maree Alexis Hair to go through with your service, therefore once you leave the salon we cannot guarantee hair care processes executed at home so Maree Alexis Hair cannot under any circumstances provide a refund, replacement, credit or reimbursement.
You understand once you leave the salon you abide by the rules set out to look after your mesh integration system and will not hold Maree Alexis Hair Accountable for any issues with your mesh system or hair extensions.
You understand Maree Alexis Hair will not be held accountable for changes or issues with your own natural hair once the mesh integration system has been applied and removed due to the fact your hair can change in structure in the 4-8 weeks that the mesh has been applied. Changes are out of Maree Alexis Control and you will not hold her accountable for changes of your own natural hair, breakage, damage, skin irritations, and all other personal changes to your body as this is out of Maree Alexis Hair control.
All Mesh integration systems need high maintenance care and you need to follow strict guidelines and instructions to keep up your home care maintenance to make sure you follow all the rules. Missing an appointment could mean your mesh integration doesn't sit well and won't give you the best outcome therefore Maree Alexis will not be liable for changes with your mesh integration following you have not abided by strict guidelines.
Your mesh integration system has been fitted to your customised guidelines on how you wear your hair, and to fit your head size. The fit and placement has been collaborated with you and your stylist to find the best placement for you. Once the mesh has been set in place it cant be removed and re placed unless a re fit appointment has been booked which you will be charged our standard re fit fee. All re fits need to be booked in advance due to high demand. Please refrain from trying to remove your own mesh integration system as this can cause unnecessary damage to your natural hair. you are to leave it on and removed by a professional.
Once you leave the salon with your mesh integration system you are happy with how your mesh system is fitted and with the extensions therefore no refund can be made if adjustments needs to be made.
You agree to all content and media of your mesh integration system be posted on all but not limited to social media promotional activity to boost exposure of mesh integration of maree Alexis hair.
I acknowledge all terms and conditions set by Maree Alexis Hair that refuses me the right to a Replacement, Refund, Credit, Liability of loss and damage to my person and hair and scalp. I understand all terms.
Agreement & Release
I certify that the information provided for this consultation is true and accurate and that I have read and agreed to the contenTs of the aftercare advice on hair extensions and also agree to carry out the advice given to me. I will not hold MAREE ALEXIS HAIR / MAREE ALEXIS SALON or the extensionist responsible for any damages or injury caused by me failing to comply with the advice given or providing any inaccurate information at any time. I agree that I will attend maintenance appointments as advised by my stylist and attend the removal appointment with my extensionist for correct removal and in the timescale advised by your extensionist. I agree to use the Hair extensions range of aftercare products to help maintain the quality of my extensions. if l am unhappy with the hair, service or fitting of the extensions, I must give the extensionist and salon the opportunity to rectify any issues and follow procedures within 14 days of installation only. Removal must be carried out by the extensionist or salon who provided the initial fitting. understand that failure to comply to the above exempts me from any entitlement to a refund should any issue occur. If I feel the extensions are not what was expected or not suitable, then I understand a refund will not be given.
this disclaimer also is binding with colour services in a mix Package and client acknowledges no refunds are to be given for colour and extensions.
Damages to personal and property will not be held responsible Of Maree Alexis hair and staff. You acknowledge when proceeding you are not going to hold Maree Alexis and team Liable for loss of hair, loss of extensions, colour Applied and loss of personal property. You acknowledge Maree Alexis confirms colour match of extensions and colour of hair is all good prior to leaving salon. i understand that if i have greasy, thin or a slippery hair type the bonds can slip or slide out before their lifespan.
I understand bonds are made off of pure keratin granule and therefore break down really easily if my hair is greasy, oily, sweat prone (including working out) and will not request a refund or find Maree Alexis from Maree Alexis Salon liable for damages or bonds not lasting their full lifespan. I understand it is out of the stylists control that once i leave the salon i acknowlege the bonds and maintainance is in my hands and in my control.i understand that my extensions may shed more or less than what im used tio and hair shedding can be cuased by a multitude of things that i will not make maree alexis accountable for as its out of her control. hair shedding is something maree alexis cant control therefore will not hold any issues liable for maree aslexis I acknowledge once i leave the salon i refuse the right to ask for a refund, replacement or hold maree alexis hair accountable for hair shedding, bonds slipping out, colour fadage, colour changes and dry / damages hair. I acknowledge all terms and conditions set by Maree Alexis in knowing i have the right to read this statement and not proceed with installation at my discretion. i am signing this form ACKNOWLEDGING the above statement and agree to all terms please note all DEPOSITS are strictly non refundable.
Leave Happy Policy / Revision Policy
Our main priority is for you to be happy and satisfied with your service and we will work with you to make sure your desired hair goals are achieved. However for any reason you are not 100% happy with your experience please contact the salon within 24hrs of your appointment to discuss your concerns so we can provide a solution and discuss your concerns.
Please advise No refunds will be provided for the work completed or services performed under this contract other than in accordance with consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law and as otherwise permitted by law.
We highly recommend you speak up straight away whilst in the salon if you have any concerns, however our thorough consults should avoid this happening, but please ensure you are very particular during your consult with your stylist to avoid any miscommunication. Your happiness is important to us.
Please understand we do not offer refunds / free redo’s for change of mind after your service is complete.
Our main priority is for you to be happy and satisfied with your service and we will work with you to make sure your desired hair goals are achieved. With our thorough consultation process we try our best to avoid any miscommunication from occurring. Your stylist will review your Inspiration pictures and explain the process to make sure you're happy before commencing your service. Please make sure you're thorough with what you're wanting to achieve.
Please understand that once you leave the salon we do not offer refunds/free revisions for change of mind after your service is complete. We understand people in your life may have an opinion on your hair however you have left the salon happy and content with your new look so therefore outside influence shouldn't be at the expense of the salon. If for any reason you change your mind once you leave the salon we can book you in at our next available appointment and the full price of the service will be charged.
Poor Product Use Policy
If you have been using unprofessional brands and products that may impact us colouring your hair, we will either require you to have an in salon cleanse prior to colouring or possibly refuse to colour your hair depending on the situation. Please understand poor water quality on your hair might disturb the colour process and colours holding onto the hair.
We have the right to refuse a colour service or advise of a cleanse to then continue with the service.
Poor water quality can be from: copper pipes, algae mineral build up in pipes, tank water, overseas water, salt water & Chlorinated water.
PLEASE understand how serious this policy is and we do require honest information from you as a chemical reaction may occur. Maree Alexis Salon is not liable for any issues associated with breakage or damage to the hair if a colour service is carried out and a chemical reaction occurred without our knowledge of poor water on the hair cuticle.
Keratin Bond Hair Extensions Agreement
I understand and agreed to all terms and conditions set by Maree Alexis Hair in providing me with my hair extension service. Maree has confirmed placement of extensions once installed is permanent “once they are in they cannot come out unless removed in salon.”
The extensions last between 3-7 months depending on your home care routine, hair strength and as per the client request for removal. Maree and I have collaborated on the most effective placement for my extensions to suit my lifestyle and how I like to wear my hair. I understand I could wear my hair differently from time to time and will not hold Maree Alexis accountable for changing my hair parting and placement of my extensions after i have left the salon on the day of my service.
I understand that it takes up to one week for my extensions to settle in and I am not allowed to wash my hair for one week after installation.
I understand I need to brush my hair at least two times a day to prevent knotting, clamping and matting of the extensions. If your hair is prone to knotting please brush more frequently as you desire to avoid big clumps occurring.
Please note: not all hair types are suitable for Keratin bond extensions therefore you may experience hair extensions falling out before your 3 -7 month replacement. Maree Alexis will not reimburse for loss of hair. It is also normal to experience loss of hair extensions before your replacement as hair naturally sheds and could lose up to 20 bonds in the time frame. The most effective and long lasting results are from taking the advice of Maree Alexis Hair and keeping informed of great lengths maintenance guidelines. You understand that you are to avoid any heat from styling tools on the bonds as this can cause the bonds to fall out, clump together and compromise the hair. You understand washing and brushing your hair with the recommended brush, shampoo and conditioner advised by Maree Alexis Hair will maintain your hair extensions and give them the best chance at lasting their full lifespan.
Failing to do so could cause damage and loss of extensions as well as damage to your natural hair and will not showcase the hair extensions in the best way. It is at your discretion and personal choice if you do not want to proceed with Maree Alexis home care advise. However Maree Alexis hair will not be held accountable for any loss or damage to your natural hair and extensions will not be Please note once you leave the salon and are happy to take before and after pictures as well as make payment for your hair extension service you are accepting all terms and conditions and can not request a refund for change of mind (including influential change of mind from a partner, loved one or friend), placement of hair extensions, loss of hair extensions, damage to your natural hair after hair extensions are removed or breakage caused by extensions. We will issues you with a maintenance guide so you can follow strict guidelines for your home care. You are entitled to a complimentary 2 week check in which is designed to make minor changes such as trimming the hair extensions only. Big changes like removal and reinstallation of more hair will be at the expense of the client. Please understand everyones hair is different and Maree Alexis Hair installs your extensions as per Great length training guidelines and House of Hair. Installing the hair extensions is at the best interest of the client and placement is defined by the clients direction on how they best wear their hair, lifestyle and achieving the best result possible.
I understand all terms and conditions and will not hold Maree Alexis Hair liable for any loss or damage to my natural hair and extensions. Following a consultation and signing of the consent form, there will be absolutely no refunds for all services performed.
Once you leave the salon we cant guarantee strict hair care measures are continued to be taken at home even if products have been purchased. I understand I must follow all guidelines set out by Maree Alexis Hair. I will not hold Maree Alexis liable and accountable for any damages to me or my hair after I have left the salon. I understand other factors may cause breakage, loss of hair, thinning hair and matting therefore will not hold Maree Alexis liable. I understand that each technician applies hair extensions differently and will I will not compare to other stylists in hope to discriminate against Maree Alexis installation. Please also understand for the first few weeks it may feel tender, sore to touch and slightly tense and uncomfortable. This is normal for your hair to adjust and for the hair extensions to settle in. Keeping your bonds brushed and individually aligned will help keep them comfortable.
Bringing your own bonds: Maree Alexis hair is not liable for any loss or damage to the bonds or your hair as maree cannot guarantee the quality of the bonds that you have purchased elsewhere. I understand that Maree Alexis and hair supplier will not be held responsible for discolouration of hair extensions that can be caused but not limited to Fake Tan, perfume, Sunscreen, Oils, Cleaning products, Utility products and hard water. You acknowledge hair cannot change colour on its own or using professional haircare. You acknowledge Maree Alexis Salon cannot guarantee the quality, colour or condition of your extensions once you leave the salon. Maree Alexis hair is only to install them for you and will not be liable for broken bonds, bonds falling out, damage to bonds, damage to your hair, loss of hair, and Bulkiness of bonds. I understand that I am not to hold Maree Alexis hair accountable for any issues around installation of my bonds as the bonds are at my own risk from being purchased elsewhere. I understand that I will not request a refund for incorrect placement of bonds, change of mind and faulty bonds as the bonds are not of Maree Alexis hair quality. I will not ask for a refund for installation of bonds as this is a service that’s cannot be refunded. Please note it’s at your own risk using bonds from a third party and Maree Alexis hair will not be held accountable for loss and damage.
You acknowledge and understand bonds will slip and slide depending on your condition of your hair. Oily hair types produce more oils and keratin therefore break down the keratin of the bonds. Other factors can break down the bonds and Maree Alexis Hair will not be liable for any issues relating to slippage, falling out and breaking down of bonds. Bonds may change colour to white or grey as they start to break down.
Invisible Wefts Agreement
I understand that I have to oblige by the guidelines set out by my stylists to ensure the longevity of my hair and installation. I understand that I must use the professional haircare recommened by my stylist and purchase the haircare items from Maree Alexis Hair to guarantee the lifespan of the hair and installation. I understand that I must re fit my invisible hair extensions every 6 - 8 weeks to ensure the lifespan of your installation of 6-8 weeks. I understand that with correct haircare the hair provided by Maree Alexis hair can last 1 - 2 years. However if the hair is not treated correctly we can ensure the lifespan of the hair. I understand I have to be gentle with my new hair extensions. Maree Alexis hair will not be hold liable for any damage to the hair extensions if the haircare kit is not purchased in salon and rules are not followed. Maree Alexis hair is not liable for damage to you or your hair once you have left the salon. Once you leave the salon we cant guarantee strict hair care measures are continued to be taken at home even if products have been purchased. I understand I must follow all guidelines set out by Maree Alexis Hair. I will not hold Maree Alexis liable and accountable for any damages to me or my hair after I have left the salon. I understand other factors may cause breakage, loss of hair, thinning hair and matting therefore will not hold Maree Alexis liable. I understand that each technician applies hair extensions differently and will I will not compare to other stylists in hope to discriminate against Maree Alexis installation.
Expenses
Client will reimburse the Business for reasonable expenses incurred by the Business in the provision of services under this Contract subject to the Business making the Client aware of such expenses prior to them being incurred.
Garment Care / Jewelry
I understand that when I attend may appointment at the salon that my clothes can be damaged due to a colour service. I understand and acknowledge that I will not hold Maree Alexis liable for damage to my clothing. I understand that at the basin I may lose items of jewellery and will not hold Maree Alexis liable for loss of jewellery. I understand I wear my garments and jewellery at my own risk and will not hold Maree Alexis liable.
Acknowledge & Release Form
acknowledge that the color correction services I have requested could have unintended results including possible side effects: Greater risk of damage to my hair and allergic reaction to hair products, irritation, burning, redness or soreness of the scalp and any other exposed skin. We are not liable for wrecked clothing during color services.
I further acknowledge that I am aware that certain medications, over the counter hair dye and various medical conditions can significantly increase the possibility of unfavourable results. I acknowledge that I now understand the risks that may occur from the color correction services I have requested and that I have been provided with an opportunity to ask my stylist questions about the possible adverse results and risks and conduct further research, and that I have decided to proceed with the requested color correction services.
I understand the risk. I agree that I will NOT hold my stylist, the salon or any other person responsible if the results are not intended or I suffer from an allergic reaction, skin irritation or other condition. I hereby release and forever discharge the Salon, its owners, employees and contractors, including my stylist (hereinafter the Releases) of and from all manner of actions, suits, claims, demands or damages of any nature or kind, which I may otherwise have because of unintended or unfavorable results or skin irritation or other medical conditions that may occur from provision of the color correction services by any of the Releases.
I confirm that I had the opportunity to review this document and I respect the details in this acknowledge and release form. I confirm that I am accepting this Acknowledgment and Release form Release freely, voluntary and without duress and that I understand that it limits legal actions I could otherwise take against the releases. *Following a consultation and signing of the consent form, there will be absolutely no refunds for services performed.
You understand that all deposits, bonds and payments down for appointments are only for the appointment you booked for. Changes to the appointment and cancellations will incur forfeit of the deposit.
I understand that once I put a deposit I understand these terms and will not at any time request a refund.
At the discretion of the stylist can move your deposit to another date one time only.
There is no cooling off period tor your deposit.
